Louis in the early 1970s, where she studied piano and flute, and sang lead vocals. The Furies played their last show in 1975, but Lydia continued writing songs and performing with bands throughout the ensuing years. She formed The Teenage Licks in 1982 with Richard Shindell (piano) and Richard Hell (bass).
